| 4th of July Pulled Pork |
"I serve this to visitors at some point of the summer and is one among my favorites mainly if feeding a crowd! I use the Smokin' Jack BBQ Sauce recipe on this website!"
Ingredients :
- 1 (8 pound) pork butt, trimmed
- 18 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as wished
- 4 teaspoons Creole seasoning (including Tony Chachere's®)
- 2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1 half teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1/four teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/four teaspoon floor black pepper
- 1/eight teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/eight teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/eight teaspoon floor ginger

- Cut rows of deep slits into each sides of beef butt the use of a sharp knife; insert a garlic clove into every slit. Rub vegetable oil over pork butt.
- Mix Creole seasoning, brown sugar, white sugar, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, mustard, cumin, and ginger collectively in a bowl; coat beef butt with spice mixture. Wrap coated red meat butt with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 8 hours to in a single day.
- Heat an infrared turkey fryer or a big skillet over medium-excessive warmth; cast off aluminum foil from pork butt. Sear all sides of red meat butt in the fryer or warm skillet till an internal temperature of one hundred forty five degrees F (63 degrees C) is reached, 1 to one half hours.
- Wrap the seared pork butt tightly in aluminum foil.
