Applesauce Pumpkin Bread

"This yummy own family culture began while buying the kids their pumpkins. Each of the kids were given one to make their jack o'lanterns. Mama were given one to cook! Friends and family usually experience this treat. Tweak it to fit your own family as I do mine! Enjoy with confectioners' sugar on top or cream cheese frosting!"

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 half of cups applesauce
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons floor cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • half teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/four teaspoon floor mace
  • half of cup chopped walnuts (elective)
  • half cup semisweet chocolate chips (non-obligatory)
  • 3 cups all-reason flour
  • 1/four cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions :

Prep : 20M Cook : 16M Ready in : 2H20M
  • Preheat oven to 350 levels F (175 tiers C). Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  • Mix white sugar and applesauce collectively in a large bowl; stir pumpkin puree and eggs into sugar aggregate until smooth. Notes :

  • We select pecans and semisweet chocolate chips in our pumpkin bread. Most regularly I bake it in a 9x13-inch pan and once cooled, top it off with cream cheese frosting.
